Dr. Mickey Bernstein has recently retired from clinical dentistry after 42 years in Germantown, Tennessee. He is an Accredited Member and 2008-2009 President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has received the honor of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists, and is an Alumnus of the L. D. Pankey Institute. Dr. Bernstein enjoys sharing his dental experiences through lecturing and writing on esthetic practice development and cosmetic design and has founded the UT/AACD Student Esthetic Study Club, serving as mentor and Adjunct Professor. He has lectured nationally and authored articles in dental journals.
He has served on numerous committees for the AACD including the Professional Education Committee for 5 years and the Nominating and Leadership Development Committee for 3 years.
Dr. Bernstein has a special interest in learning what motivates people to help them achieve their full potential. He is a partner in Bernstein Consulting, helping dental practices, businesses, and organizations achieve their dreams. He spends his remaining time with his wife, Diane, 7 children and 14 grandchildren.
Diane Bernstein has been involved in the field of healthcare since 1972. She graduated with honors from the Baptist Hospital School of Radiology Technology, and before changing careers, she managed the Radiology Department of a large Multi-Specialty Medical Practice with 5 locations and 25 employees. She became the Practice Administrator for Germantown Dental Group in 1993; a practice with 4 doctors, and a staff of 21 team members. In 2006 she became the Patient Coordinator for her husband, Dr. Mickey Bernstein. They help dental practices achieve their dreams through Bernstein Dental Consulting. Diane speaks on a variety of dental and personal development topics. Together they enjoy spending their leisure time with their 7 children and 14 grandchildren. Diane recently retired from her role at Germantown Dental Group and continues sharing her ability to communicate effectively through lecturing and consulting. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travel, sports, gardening, and cooking.
Massachusetts AGD reserves the right to: (i) cancel any course at any time; (ii) change speakers; (iii) change the venue; (iv) change the programming; (v) change the time; and (vi) change the location, all without notice and at its sole discretion and shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, damages or any other amount whatsoever due to such cancellation or changes to the course offering. Massachusetts AGD shall be under no obligation to reschedule any course which has been canceled. Massachusetts AGD shall be under no obligation to offer meals or refreshments at any of its courses and is under no obligation to accommodate any special dietary restrictions at courses where meals are offered.
Massachusetts AGD will not be liable for any expenses incurred by any registrant for attendance at a course, including but not limited to: travel expenses, accommodations, meals, salaries, wages, and loss of income, or for participant’s failure to attend a course.
By registering for a course, registrants acknowledge having read and understood this disclaimer and registration fee policy and agree to hold harmless edropin as set out herein.
All programs offered by Massachusetts AGD will be for scientific and educational purposes only and will not promote the products of the company directly. Massachusetts AGD is responsible for the control of content and the selection of presenters and moderators. Massachusetts AGD may work with or accept financial or in-kind support from other organizations but those organizations must first agree in writing that they will not direct the content of the program. Outside organizations or their agents will respond only to requests initiated by Massachusetts AGD for suggestions of presenters or sources of possible presenters. Massachusetts AGD will record the role of the company or its agents and ensure that all names/roles are disclosed to participants prior to attending a program.
Massachusetts AGD is responsible for the control of content and the selection of presenters and moderators. The sponsors agree not to direct the content of the program. The sponsors will respond only to edropin initiated requests for suggestions of presenters or sources of possible presenters. The sponsors will suggest more than one name (if possible); will provide speaker qualifications; will disclose financial or other relationships between the sponsors and speaker; and will provide this information in writing. Massachusetts AGD will record the role of the COMPANY OR ITS AGENTS.
The following is prohibited in any area of Massachusetts AGD events:
● Setting up Profiles and/or events that promote violence against or stereotypes of individuals or groups based on race, gender, religion, age, nationality, political affiliation or sexual orientation
●Explicit or violent content
●Content that makes reference to weapons
●Promoting an illegal activity
●Being disrespectful
●Revealing personal or identifying information about another user
●Lessons that promote dubious business schemes or promise a specific outcome to users.
●Engaging in fraudulent or misleading activity (including but not limited to: using multiple identities, email addresses, providing false or misleading information).
Massachusetts AGD is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from January 2, 2024 to January 1, 2028. Provider ID# 219307
