Course Description: Implants are increasing in popularity with more and more clinicians jumping in to provide this service. It can be an overwhelming subject since there are so many components to consider for successful implant treatment. This comprehensive seminar will cover the essentials of implant treatment from planning to delivery.

1. Treatment planning -- prosthetically driven treatment planning (determining ideal implant position)
2. Immediate vs. delayed implant placement
3. Immediate provisionalization
4. Timing of implant placement (growth and development)
5. Impression techniques -- single & multiple implants
6. Prosthetic design:
a. abutment selection / type
b. screw-retained / cement-retained restorations
c. immediate provisionalization
d. soft tissue management -- pontics & custom healing abutments
7. Lab communication & cooperation
About the Speaker: Dr. Jeremy Sant, Associate Clinical Director of the residency program at the Arizona School of Dental and Oral Health started his education at the University of Buffalo. After graduation, he completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency in Phoenix, AZ where he gained a passion for surgery and implants. This passion transformed into years of advanced implant and surgical training with industry leading experts and board certified implantologists. He has achieved Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. His inspiration is to simplify the complexity of implant dentistry and improve treatment success through sharing his training and years of experience as a private practice clinician and instructor.
