***Each injector attending must provide (or purchase at the event directly from FACES) one (1) bottle of Botox Cosmetic 50 Units. If the participant supplies their own Botox, that bottle must be approved by FACES staff to ensure the authenticity of the product to avoid gray market, NON-FDA APPROVED products from being used.
***Each injector attending must provide (or purchase at the event directly from FACES) one (1) Syringe of FDA approved Hyalluronic Acid Based Dermal Filler. If the participant supplies their own Dermal Filler, that product must be approved by FACES staff to ensure the authenticity of the product to avoid gray market, NON-FDA APPROVED products from being used.

DERMAL FILLER Patient Training Course: This course covers the basic science of dermal fillers, safe injection techniques, proper patient facial evaluation and anatomy, safety protocols, pre/post procedure steps and more. No other courses incorporate blunt end cannula training at the beginner level. FACES dermal filler training is designed to build your confidence as an injector and prepare you to go back to your practice and be able to safely and confidently inject patients. About the Speaker: Dr. Gigi Meinecke has been active in the field of facial injectables since 2004. In 2013 she established FACES Education, providing cosmetic and therapeutic injectable training to medical and dental professionals with a core focus on comprehensive facial anatomy. Her programs regularly integrate cadaver study with live patient injections.
In addition to teaching nationally, Dr. Meinecke is instructor and the Course Director for the Facial Injectables Pre-doctoral program at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. She also provides litigation support as an expert witness in the injectable domain.
Her recent publications include “Applications for Facial Injectables in Dentistry,” “Lower Face Influence on Total Facial Esthetics,” and “When and How to Say No to Facial Injectable Patients.” She is author of the book, “Start and Grow Your Cosmetic Injectable Practice.”
Dr. Meinecke is a past President of the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry and currently serves on the Maryland State Dental Associations Legislative and Government Affairs Council. On a national level, she is past Chair of the ADA Council on Communications and serves as spokesperson for the AGD. She is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Meinecke maintains a private practice limited to facial injectables in Potomac, Maryland.
